Skin
A Poem
Electric, soft, rough and warm
when your skin touches mine my body burns beneath yours.
Lips touch mine, then lower towards the curve of my neck
your hands linger along my skin,
magic appears through small bumps
that just happens to illuminate my skin.
Your heart beats hard against the cage of your chest,
like an animal begging to be let out.
It claws through your skin begging for me to hold your heart,
but your heart is violent, crazy and delicate
begging for someone to love it.
My skin trembles beneath your body as it holds me down,
like thunder it strikes me and I am no longer in reach.
Your hands like the wind,
it blows through my hair,
touching and caressing my hair,
my neck,
my back,
and my chest.
