A Love
An Essay
I want a love that is a continuous cycle of unpredictable yet predictable spontaneity that grips hold of me without ever letting go.
I want a love that doesn’t rely on the external validation of others, yet I want a love that is admired by everyone that witnesses our joint existence.
I want a love that defies everything. I want a love that goes against what everyone believes in. I want a love that is stronger than the words that are said behind our backs and a love that proves them wrong.
I want a love that is still yet still adds in that adrenaline rush. I want a love that keeps going and going no matter what. I want a love that is as calm as the sea on a Sunday, yet as crazy and electric-like lightning in the storm that comes every Friday.
I want a love where fire ignites between us in so many ways. A love that is worth settling for, a love worth fighting for, and a love worth holding on to.
